NEWS, INFORMATION & LINKS YOU CAN USE!

Due to a lack of concern for our customer satisfaction will no longer be diving at The Marine Park of Flagler. They told us "frankly, we have all the business we need."  We wish them well and hope they don't go bankrupt again  Update: They closed their doors in 2004. We wish them well and hope they open again!

NEWS, INFORMATION &
LINKS YOU CAN USE!  (Telling it like it is)

The diving industry is in a state of decline.  Dive students are crammed into scuba classes conducted by inexperienced instructors.  Some dive shops are letting teenagers rebuild equipment.  Some instructors are misrepresenting themselves and/or taking their openwater students into dangerous situations (caves).  Some shops have been forging instructor signatures on certification cards.  These same shops are having their class taught by non-instructors.  Drunk boat crews are assaulting passengers because of some macho, authority disorder.  Some certifying agencies are ignoring the problems due to their competition for market shares and profits.

We realize that there is no reason to try and compete with these entities.  There really is not any competition.  They do not offer 30 years of diving experience, including commercial.  They do not offer their clients diving professionals with master's degrees.  Their staff are not certified lifeguards, physically capable of providing in water assistance.  They do not offer one on one attention.  Their courses do not provide detailed lectures in instead of videos.

As a result our prices are slightly higher.  But you know the saying, "you get what you pay for."  We find that when you offer cheap pricing, you get cheap students and unpleasant diving.

Come join us exciting adventures and training opportunities.
